Joan McKasson Watercolor WorkshopNovember 9-11, 2009 (9:30am-4:30pm, 1 hour lunch break) Learn to trust your creative instincts and to use the natural free flowing characteristics of watercolor as a genesis to lead you on a creative journey to create vibrant and expressive water media paintings. Using visualization and source material, you will be encouraged to experiment and explore new techniques and materials. Learn how to let paint be your guide and to enrich your paintings with exciting color and texture. You will have the choice of working in transparent watercolor or a combination of water media and experimental materials. Lectures, demonstrations, individual assistance and critiques make this a stimulating workshop. Your own photographs, sketches, imagination or previous paintings are suggestions for inspiration. Limit 15 students.
